Adobe InDesign CS3 freezes when the “Starting up service registry” message appears on the startup screen when you are working with an English copy of InDesign CS3 on a Danish Windows operating system.

Solution:
Install the latest version of InDesign CS3.
Update to the latest version of InDesign CS3 from the Adobe website at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=31&platform=Windows.
